The BAYON brings Hyundai’s first generative AI voice assistant in India, powered by Perplexity and SoundHound AI. The BAYON has a confident, modern face. Slim inverted-L LED daytime running lamps are linked by a piano-black strip, and the LED headlamps sit at the corners of a wide grille with horizontal inserts. A large bumper and chunky skid plate give it real SUV presence.

In profile, sharp creases run along every panel, and flared wheel arches wrap around up to 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The black pillars give a floating-roof look. The rear mirrors the front with inverted-L tail lamps joined by a black strip, plus a roof spoiler and shark-fin antenna. It will look right at home on Marina Beach Road or in Anna Nagar.

Inside, the BAYON uses a black-and-white dual-tone theme with white leatherette upholstery. In a hot city like Chennai, the lighter colours help the cabin feel cooler and more spacious.

The dashboard features vertical AC vents, a sculpted centre section and Hyundai’s new steering wheel. Soft-touch padding on the steering, gear knob and armrests adds comfort, and unique round inside door handles add a touch of character. All five seats get adjustable headrests, so rear passengers travel just as comfortably as those in front.

All BAYONs get 6 airbags and electronic stability control as standard. Higher variants add Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera, a real help when parking in T. Nagar or Velachery.
