This is Hyundai’s first car in India with a generative AI voice assistant, powered by Perplexity and SoundHound AI. Ask it for directions, music or quick answers in natural language. Hyundai has announced regional language support; check with our team whether Telugu voice commands are included.

Twin 12.3-inch screens sit in one curved panel, with NVIDIA-powered navigation and wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

The 1.5-litre petrol engine (about 115 PS) pairs with a CVT automatic or a 6-speed manual. The CVT makes daily commutes through Gachibowli, Madhapur and Kukatpally far less tiring. On the Outer Ring Road, Level 2 ADAS adds an extra layer of support.

Along the side, you’ll notice crisp creases, flared wheel arches with sharp cladding and up to 17-inch dual-tone alloys. Blacked-out pillars create a floating roof. At the rear, inverted-L LED tail lamps connected by a thin black strip match the front. Whether parked at Inorbit Mall or cruising along Necklace Road, the BAYON makes an impression.

The BAYON’s interior uses a black-and-white dual-tone theme with white leatherette seats. Its dashboard, inspired by Hyundai’s latest global models, features vertical AC vents and a sculpted mid-section.

You’ll find soft-touch padding on the steering wheel, gear knob and armrests, and Hyundai’s new steering wheel design. The twin 12.3-inch screens are housed in a single curved panel, giving a clean, premium look. All five seats get adjustable headrests, and rear passengers enjoy their own AC vents, a welcome touch in Hyderabad’s summer heat.

Every BAYON gets 6 airbags and electronic stability control. Top variants add Level 2 ADAS and a 360-degree camera for tight parking spots in Banjara Hills or Ameerpet.
